Saves me money and discussion. Has anyone seen Incubus in concert? Are they worth it?

Eddie Vedder spends most of his night standing behind his microphone, and drinking from a bottle of wine in between songs. That being said, Pearl Jam puts on one kick ass show.

I can't say I'm too fussed about this to be honest. I know almost nothing of their catalogue (save for Sex on Fire, natch) and would never see them anyway. Still, I suppose it's best to wish for a speedy resolution so that disappointed fans can get the shows they've been forced to miss out on.

Also, they're saying vocal exhaustion or whatever - but is that really it? I don't know their story, so I've no idea if this is just a standard cover for a pissed up front man?

Yeah i remember when the Black Keys pulled out of their Big Day Out performance earlier this year I was pissed that they said "exhaustion" was the reason, I mean maybe it was but .. eh.
It always seems like a cop out response ... that's why I was slightly less miffed when Ween cancelled their tour here in 2003 or 04 and said "it's because Gener has gone into rehab". I mean it sucked, but you instantly knew there was a problem and didn't feel like you were being treated a fool.

I'm not a huge PJ fan, but I do like some of their songs. I figured I would go see them being that I never had before. It was at the Prudential Center last year and I worked across the street at the time.

It was by far the worst concert I have ever been to. My friend and I absolutely hated it, 1 of the guys we went with loved it. They are a band that plays whatever they hell they feel like that night. I looked at set lists and they were so different every night. There was a show 2 days later at MSG where the setlist was actually songs I knew. I think my show they played 4 songs I liked. PJ shows are for real PJ fans who know every song.

The other part of the show that was just awful was Eddie sung every song on double time. Like he had someplace to go afterwards and couldn't wait to get out of there. I thought maybe I had too many beers and my friend and I looked at each other like WTF, why is he singing so fast.

I paid $90 for a ticket......never again!

Not a huge fan either but saw them once. After the first 5 songs I thought the show sucked but then they rocked out 1 great song after another from there. Had a great time and the show was fantastic.

Yes, they are def worth it. They are pros and have been around a long long time. My sons first show was incubus and he loved it. Got to meet them all after and hang out. Brandon is very personable and his stage presence is fantastic. Although i am not huge on their latest stuff i am a fan of theirs never the less. bounce.gif This one of my fav live songs from them.

Incubus nice to know you

Been listening to Come Around Sundown a lot lately, really good record. The singer may be a bit of a cock but he's got an incredible voice and something to say

While i don't like all their stuff i do like some and i commend them for telling the truth instead of like most rocks bands do. They lie. lol.
Plus it's gotta be hard working with your two bros and cousin within the same band everyday.
They got big too fast with "only by night" and "come around sundown"...and toured too much. It burned them out. Especially Caleb. The problems in this band are not just because of the singer like some people may think. They go way beyond him. Also, if you are a big fan the storyTalihina Sky of KOL is supposed to be really good. Here is a preview.

SPOILER below::
I can't believe when he says i got to second base here [the shack].."she was a cousin but tough times!" hahaha...WOW.

Such a bland band anyways. Not sure why anyone would want to see them. I bet even their fans have had enough of their erratic behavior. This is the same band that cut a concert short because they were afraid of pigeon poop. Pathetic.

Do you realize the diseases pigeon shit has in it? It's not that they were afraid of it...it's that one shit in their mouths. And they shit all over their equipment as well. I'm sure you would have done the same thing if it were you. It's pretty gross getting shit on. eyebrow.gif

Wash their mouth out and continue to play. Are they dead because of the pigeon shit in the mouth? No.

And no, if I was making tons of money doing something I love for fans who paid good money to see me, I wouldn't quit over something that small. These guys are just a bunch of divas.

Yeah, seems like they were giving a pretty accurate review of that concert. Even pigeons think KOL sound like shit.

Do you realize how much fucking money a ticket they charged fans and how much they raked in to perform that show?
