Shit, it is not the first time I read abot Paradiso on this board recently. Remember how everyone hated it when it was out. And now it looks nice

You know what I hate the most about Paradiso? It is the monkey-business that Ed made out of the opening of I Alone. "Can I get a one? Got to have a two..." He uses that same squealing SPIIIIRIIT voice in this part too. He never really did that in concert. There are a few places on Paradiso where he appears to try too hard to amp it up for the dvd, and this is the worst example of it that really annoys me.

I never watched it.

Seriously, watched about 8 seconds of I Alone and gave up.

I thought Overcome, They Stood Up for Love, Mirror Song, and Lakini's Juice were good.

But I agree on I Alone. Drives/drove me nuts.

I actually didn't mind Simple Creed mostly because it sounded nothing like it did on V.

Disclaimer: All of the YouTube videos from the 90's blow Paradiso away.

But you GOT to have a 2, man! After all that's all Paradiso is, a great big number 2.

Exactly, and that's exactly how I prefer to remember what Live used to be.

I am looking forward to hearing the new incarnation of Live. Like a phoenix, they will rise from the ashes.

I know, right?!

He shrieks on much of Paradiso.

I quite dig 'I Walk the Line' and 'Mirror Song', though.
