yeah, every time I think about it I just don't understand why he still prefer making average music with average musicians (but having artistic freedom) instead of doing what made him popular in the first place: rocking out with his (former) buds!

i believe a reunion IS in the works. What is live without Ed, i mean this is the beginning of a new era of Live, Ed will return.

Btw, CCP should really go for an album with different singers, as that 1. gives a statement "no one is the singer of Live anymore", but they'll be able to give LIVE a voice and 2. different voices (with great music) can be very successfull (The Heads, Slash, etc.)

Yeah i agree it has worked with other bands....but we already have TGF, and without Ed's voice....Live would never had been as popular. He did write most of the songs also, i am a fan of TGF, but Live without Ed...I don't know...we'll see.

I don't know, I'm leaning towards still not wanting any version of Live to continue making new music without Ed.
If something else is released that is anything more than just CCP alone, then to me it's just going to be Live in name only.
And Throwing Cheetahs - man you are the most optimistic fool around, Ed aint comin' back any time soon.

nah, I know, Live without Ed isn't REAL Live, but... that's why I think different singers is the only option. Also TGF isnt really Live with an other singer. TGF was musically different from what they would have done if they had artistically freedom from Ed to do album # 8. I bet they'd never let the blues and 70ies sound slip into LIVE.

Well, the Slash option is a possibility (picking the best singer available and tour), but best would be going on the road with as much of the singers they recorded with and perform both the new and old songs with those singers.
