Actually over 400 are expected in attendance tonight. It should be a good show.

Gonna call u out on your claims of over 400. As of right now theyve only sold 365 and online sales are officially closed over. If youre that clairvoyiant and are going to claim over 400, then stand at the box office window and see if u get it by counting them. With the weather breaking, the train show replacement should go on.

Either way, the final result will be around the 400 mark, and that's solid for Ed and the venue.

QUOTE(SJN1279 @ Aug 15 2011, 4:51 am) *

Not true. I saw Ed 5 times this year and each time the setlist was different.

A song or 2 different isn't anything to be excited about, his setlist, even until latter stages of live were never very adventurous. Not to mention his recycled banter between songs where he tries to sound spontaneous. Will never forget back to back nights where he tried to pass off being ignorant of the "Melbourne/Canberra thing" (which btw there is no "thing"). It's like going to watch the same movie over and over. But you're obviously ok with that since your taste in things is extremely bland and very safe... Only like what's popular and so long as "the hits" are played then it's all good.

But honestly, I don't care smile.gif why am I spending time commenting on it then? If you asked yourself that question then how can you look in the mirror when you devote so much time into CCP/TGF when ultimately you really don't care? But the point is probably lost on you.

Actually the latter stages of LIVE had a much more varied setlist than the LIVE on the 90's and early 2000's.

That's why I said up until, right at the very end they started to show some signs of variation, but that wasn't much of a window of time. Doesn't change any other of my points though.

Needs to use the big boy low voice more often!

Did NOT see All Over You coming as the opener!! I didn't think he'd even play it let alone open with it, what a treat!

this is the most energy I've seen ed play with since 2000. & I've seen live more than 30 times & him 4 times solo. He's really hitting the low end of his range! It is a good show!

I'm so excited for the eventual youtube videos that will come out where we'll get to see that amazing falsetto and those kick ass hip swiveling dance moves!

The low end of his range is where it's at, that's where he's at his best for sure.

appreciate the commentary, get some video. Ed's gotta give a good show here. His PA rep is on the line. If he blows the doors down and wow's the crowd......makes you wonder why he chooses not to be the singer of Live anymore........the real reasons, not the ones in the press. thumbsup.gif
