I'm not sure how much it matters, honestly. There would be a quality difference for sure, but the album is heavily compressed so it won't be better by leaps and bounds.

Now, if they would sell the 24 bit pre-mastering mixes, I am all there. I prefer the earlier board mix of Appetite to the final product and would love to hear the rest in the same fashion.

I still need to actually listen to the vinyl and see how it came out.

This sounds like the video game wars of the 80's and early 90's. 8-bit, 16 bit. I loved my Nintendo despite the constant need to blow into cartridges and high priced cleaners.
