Planking ... what the fuck are you guys up to? This looks like one of the dumbest things I've ever seen, but apparently it is huge in Australia. From my observation it looks like a contest to see who can get in the gayest position possible.

Sad to here there's now been a planking death ...

I remember hearing about planking a couple of years ago from other places in the world and it never "took off" here, then suddenly the Herald Sun and a couple of other news outlets ran stories on it and now its just exploded here. If they news had just left it alone and not made a deal out of it then it would never have become what it has.
It just goes to show how little things we actually have going on here, I'm sure someone has died from planking in the US but you never hear about it because your country isn't like a giant country town like ours is sad.gif

To be honest I don't care one way or the other, I'm not anti or pro planking, it's just ... there.

Yeh i only heard about this craze when the poor guy planked himself to death. I think il;l just stick to drinking.

The thing about this planking thing is that everyone seems to think it's an "Australian thing" now, we're just the only country dumb enough to go crazy over it, it's been going on for a few years now all over the world. Again some do make me chuckle, I would actually love to plank at an Ed concert. Risk of falling asleep? Probable, but worth it! wink.gif

lol 8 people got fired from my company for on-the-job planking. One planked on top of a bansaw. Woolies is just trying to look responsible and shit.
