I wasn't sure where to put this and didn't want to start a new thread, so I am going to stick it here.

I am in Atlanta for New Year's seeing old college friends and my wife's family. We have been visiting old haunts from our college days and popped into our favorite record store, Criminal Records, and saw this:

Signed MJ Flat

An old MJ flat signed by the whole band and with much more complete signatures than I have ever seen, especially from Ed. I've been in this record store hundreds of times and have never seen this flat.

Just wanted to share,
Brian

Thanks, Brian. I completely missed this thread entirely back when it was posted and if it weren't for you I might never have had a chance to see that fucking picture of Ed that Dan posted.

Again... thanks SO much for bringing this thread back up.

Dan, you're not right. no.gif

Nice! Did you buy it? If not, how much was it?

Ed was on the cover of Kerrang Magazine in a similar pose. Here is a link. I remember reading an article where the editor of Kerrang magazine said, putting a semi-naked Ed on the cover was one of the worst decisions he ever made. He said that particular edition didn't sell well and he had stacks of returns.

It wasn't for sale sad.gif

There were flats/vinyl all over the store that were signed "To Eric: ..." (the owner) he keeps them as momentos and doesn't sell them.

Now that you mention it, it is probably the MJ vinyl, I am not aware of a flat for MJ only the tall thin poster.
