Edit: iamurme - if you actually are Kevin I apologize for my doubts. It is not my intention to question every thing you say or do. Please understand that in the past board members have actively used dummy accounts to push an agenda and some have even tried deceive the board by falsley posing and posting as member of Live.

I do respect Kevin, and would like to believe he is interested in the board.

I have to say, however, I have doubt iamurme is Kevin Martin. I am on the boards right now at 8:18. So is that user, in the Candlebox thread.

The problem with that is that TGF has a show right now in Buffalo which started at 8. I'm in the same time zone, so it is after the start time of the show.

I find it difficult to believe that a lead singer would be at a venue, checking out a fan website while his opening act is playing.

If he is he must be really interested in what we have to say.

Anyone who doubts what I saw can currently check out the profile page. As of now it says a last active time that would place him online after the 8 pm show would have started.

I have to kind of agree. Doesn't that poster have over 50 posts here? That means that if it were Kevin, he'd have over 50 previous posts on this board with something to say in the past. I would be interested to see if Dan could view this posters posts and see what he's had to say in the past.

Funny thing is, I think I've argued with this poster before. And if he's posted before, why would he have posted here before over 50 times? Seems kind of fishy to me, so I'd have to agree with you there.

I checked it out a few days ago. As of now there are 7 posts. The first few seemed to be lyrics corrections.

I would love to believe it is Kevin and to be proven wrong, but with internet identity claims you can't help but be skeptical. When I see the user online after 8pm on the day of the first show of the tour (which starts at 8pm) I can't help but believe it's possibly a fake.

Well, if I recall correctly, this user did have correct changes to the lyrics long before the album was out or the lyrics were released. So whoever it is must have had the album early. I know Luke did but I'm sure this isn't him. I also agree with you guys that it likely isn't KM. Who else could it be? Any help Dan?

I'm not sure why this would imply that it isn't him. I imagine he has an iphone that would allow him to hop on the message board and see what is going on. The headlining band isn't usually in a position to watch the opener at most of these venues (they are on the bus or in the back) and besides, they will hear that opener plenty of times on this tour.

To me, the accurate lyrical corrections and the writing style of the posts provide much more evidence that it IS him than that it isn't.

I see your point, but for all you know I could be posing as Kevin and the timing does leave room for some doubt (just to clarify, I am not doing so).

It would be awesome if it was, but you would need actual proof to ever truely know - and why would he feel the need to take the time to prove who he was on a Live fan board?
