Tickets To The Show Options

I decided to look into the two shows coming up at The Machine Shop in Flint. You have to dig a little but they are actually posted up for sale consecutively on the website:

So the shows are about a month apart. Ed's show costs $10 more than TGF. I also noticed that TGF presale offer is $20 and the venue is charging $15, so you are paying a little for all of the free stuff they are offering. I checked and the venue charges a $3.18 service fee to buy tickets online. You get a printup ticket, not a stub (which I prefer to get because I keep all the stubs in the case with the CD the tour represents).

I've also said The Machine Shop is in the ghetto. I was able to find one review of the venue on zvents.com. It states:

Avoid This Club!
We knew we were in for a "treat" when the parking guy suggested that we park across the street at the Dort Mall because "there will be less chance of your car getting broken into". We did that and a car down from us had a shattered window when we left. The security crew are real power hungry morons and won't let you have any fun at all. Be on your best behavior and drive a beater car!


Like I've said, regardless of who is playing, sounds like a great place to see a show . I would love to see both acts but I'm undecided on whether I will go see either show.
