Totally agree Pokey. Nick revealed this the other day regarding V2. I think it has plenty to do with TGF picking up the phone and making the contacts and establishing a contract. Nick in his delusional wet dreams credits his pal.

Well why wasn't The Gracious Few signed to V2 records until a month after Ed's album debuted high and continued to chart well? I am pretty positive that if Alive tanked, V2 would not have signed The Gracious Few.
