I'm sure Gracey is only public with part of the reason he is bitter. The fact that he is still venting after Chad Taylor's blog, just shows a lack of ability to let go.

I am upset that they felt the need to go public with their venting. Family matters should stay in the family.

you need to get over yourself and realize that people are going to say bad things about Ed, he certainly deserves it. you forget that these guys are musicians, they aren't presidents and diplomats. they're going to speak their minds, and are expected to do so.

Totally agree Pokey. Nick revealed this the other day regarding V2. I think it has plenty to do with TGF picking up the phone and making the contacts and establishing a contract. Nick in his delusional wet dreams credits his pal.

CG has stated reasons for his dislike for Ed, it's not like he's making stuff up, although you probably think he is.

I can't believe you're now actually trying to say that TGF's success in Europe is all down to Ed. you are a complete idiot, this rates up there with the stupidest things you've ever said, and that's a tough list to get onto!

Alive's success played a bit part of it. TGF released the Honest Man single on Netherlands Itunes without V2, and that shows that V2 signing was unexpected and only was made possible by Ed's CD selling well.

V2 signed Ed K. first because they knew his album was going to do well. TGF is a much bigger gamble in the Netherlands.

Well why wasn't The Gracious Few signed to V2 records until a month after Ed's album debuted high and continued to chart well? I am pretty positive that if Alive tanked, V2 would not have signed The Gracious Few.

So now you're pulling more shit out of your ass. Just keep making it up in your head. You have ZERO proof. ZERO!

Nick, you are so full of BS, it smells right though my computer screen. When are you going to start phrasing your BS answers with 'in my opinion'. You might save some cred!!!

I've never seen nick like this... I only occasionally wander into these threads but this is truly the worst thread I have ever read on this board. All it is is Nick trolling... It's not even about a blog! Can someone lock this waste of time?

I agree. Can we try to keep threads on topic? A lot of threads are degenerating something that the OP never intended to discuss.

SJN1279: if you want to discuss whether Ed helped TGF get a record deal in Europe then by all means start your own thread.

V2 saw Ed Kowalczyk's CD do well for them, and figured they'd give the rest of Live a shot. Ed indirectly gave the band a nice assist in the Netherlands.

I don't think so. The manager at V2 is a long time friend of Live and he was in talks with TGF long before Eds cd was even released. Record companies don't have to take sides, they just have to believe an artist can make money for them smile.gif

I think it's cool that TGF might become somewhat of a relevant band in the world.

Would be really quite cool.

V2 signed EK first.

THATS it.. thats all we know. the rest is all speculation on your part.. so unless you spoke to a V2 executive or have proof otherwise.. (i'd accept a "thank you" from TGF to EK for the assist as proof)... but in the absence of that GIVE IT UP

Chad, blast away at this idiot. I start a thread to communicate the good things that are happening and it gets hijacked!!!

(As I was typing this, CT was reading the thread).
