Guys. Let's speculate a bit more.

Imagine.

Ed apologises and Live carry on with the music they made during the last 10 years ooooooooor Ed keeps his solo carreer running and his music becomes as powerful as early Live...

What do you chose, my friends, a re-estblishment of a lifelong friendship with music you will hardly enjoy or carrying on without it with better music?

Well since my life is in no way affected by their personal relationships, I think I'd have to be selfish and go for the music.

Nobody wants more SFBMs, do they?

Neither of these could ever happen! If Live did get back together, The guys would insist that they have more creative input and that Ed deflate his ego so the music would NOT sound like it did during SFBM. Plus, none of Live's albums sound alike, they are all different.

If Ed did keep his solo career going it is laughable to think he would be as successful as early Live. Even his biggest fans know that he won't be able to fill Arenas of 40000 singing "The Great Beyond." eyebrow.gif

Interesting, cos the music they made during the last 10 years sounded the way it did because of these divisions between the band. I agree with Badman that if Ed apologised or reconciled or whatever, it would likely result in the music being more of a band effort. It would likely not sound like another SFBM.

It's an awkward question to answer because I'd like to see a happy Live tour again. If Ed was making badass tunes on his own though, that would probably be enough. Because when he's on top of his game, he's pretty damn good in my opinion
