Two words: HOLY FUCK!!!!!!

That was amazing! Kevin sounded great, the songs all sounded amazing and it was so awesome to see the guys really digging what they are doing! It was a little strange hearing someone else sing Lakini's but Kevin did an awesome job and the crowd loved it! I thought I had died and gone to heaven when Taylor started stomping! This cd is going to be awesome and I can't wait to see this band live again. They are everything a rock band should be and I love it! I am sweaty, exhausted and deaf just like you should be after getting your face rocked off! That was some good shit!

Okay cool, it sounded like it had a lot of meaning, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't lame!

I hope at some point those that went could give a little recollection (like this) of some of the other new ones they played. I know that isn't easy, but it would be cool to get some more information!!

Oh god, I wish I could! I didn't want to see the setlist ahead of time so I don't know the names of any of the songs or the order they were played in. I will say that my favorites were Tredicum (did I spell that right) and Appetite but that could be just because I already loved them so much. Each song they played had something special that made each stand out and I could even see some of them being huge hits on rock radio. I wish I could give you a breakdown but lets just say my jaw dropped in the beginning, I got goosebumps several times, and my eyes popped out of my head more than once! Fucking awesome shit!

For anybody that was at the show last night do what I just did and go watch the video of Ed's European tour that is posted in Ed's thread... It makes TGF's performance last night even that much better, no comparison

Not everyone likes the same type of music. Some people prefer music that's catchy, has killer melodies, and isn't so heavy. I used to be able to tolerate heavy metal/classic rock, but now I can't stand it. So I probably would have been bored too.

Aitkens... you deserve that drum head. You had me at the live blogging you were doing yesterday. But then when I saw you were wearing a Phillies hat on the news. That one-of-a-kind item couldn't belong to anyone else.

I was just picturing you yesterday sitting in the scorching sun and humidity, all sweaty and sunburned in some kind of white-trash lawn chair, in the middle of Shittown, cars driving by honking at you. Countless people giving you weird looks wondering what kind of a crazy person would sit there all day. Homeless bums looking at you like you are one of them. You're getting interviewed by the TV news and the newspaper while you called out sick from work. The band is passing you by saying hello and probably talking inside about this hard-core nutjob sitting out there all alone in the middle of the afternoon waiting for the doors of Fat Daddy's to open.

Classic. Absolutely classic. That episode will live on in infamy on this message board.

By the way. There were just 14 members in this thread at one time. I don't even think we had that much traffic after the American Idol performance. Things are happening. Lot's of excitement. This is good.
