can the technical peeps on this board judge if this sounds anything different then before it got mastered? (so we can get an indication how much the record will suffer from the mastering).

Personally, I can't hear any difference.

It is louder, and there's a little more shine on it. That's about all mastering will do on a project like this. Given that the early mix had very little true dynamics, mastering isn't going to effect it too much in that area.

Other than that, it is hard to say given that the Facebook player also puts more compression on it.
