Hello HYE-AUTO. Welcome to the Fans of Live Message Board.

Three thousand dollars would be way too much for the items I've currently got up. I've started both auctions at $9.99. There is a Buy It Now option on the All Over You single for $59.99 and the TDTH sampler has a Buy It Now of $79.99.

If you would like to contribute a bid to either auction, I would gladly welcome it. smile.gif

Just wonder Swami: Spanish promo extremly rare, what make and item extremly rare?
I always thought it's the number of copys made.

A number of things make an item rare. Number of copies made is a big one. Region and accessibility is another. For example, a promo single made and released in the US might have 5,000 copies, but it's going to be much easier to come by than a Venuzuelan cassette printed in the tens of thousands.

Another contributing factor is the frequency at which an item appears on the market. If something like the AOY Spanish promo was up on eBay every week, it wouldn't have any claim to rarity and would not fetch very much.

It's nothing that can really be defined in a finite set of terms. Rarity is sometimes in the eye of the beholder.

An extremely rare item (such as the Shit Towne promo CD or the DMDP demo) is said to be "obscure". More on this and other terminology in 2010 at livediscography.com smile.gif

I've relisted the TDTH sampler with a much lower starting price ($0.99 instead of $9.99), and I've reduced the Buy It Now price to $69.99 from $79.99.

I came across, but wasn't able to get my hands on, a DCC sampler tape back when DCCs were coming on the scene, mid 90s sometime, with a Live track on it, do you have that in your collection?

This one doesn't have anything to do with swami or I, but back in the day this was a tough one to find, and when it did come up, it was very expensive.

Might be a good one to pick up if there are still any collectors out there
