Since the new album will probably be leaking soon (since it's already available in Holland), I just wanted to say a few things to everyone. Feel free to talk about the new album all you want here. Has it leaked? Want to share a review of it? Great! Feel free to post about it all you want, just please don't post direct links to downloads of the new album here. Thanks!

Update: The album officially leaked online just now.

The new album has officially leaked online. I just saw it for myself. It's in a weird format though (OGG).

Don't know about the leak, but I bought it today, and after a few listen:

I like it...I knew most oft it before, but hearing it in good quality and some songs in full length does really make a difference. It's easy to listen pop, the lyrics are not worth to mention (although some are sounding cool, because I'm German), the music is more diverse than BOP, fresher. Ed's voice sounds good, better than in BOP, some guitar work is nice, but nothing complex. The drum work is good, some cool parts, but somehow disappointing. Gracey seems to have better ideas in the past. Like routine-work now, but perhaps it fits best the music. I don't now about the bass...where is it? Ok, just have to get more into the songs.

Once again, I like it, but there is a feeling, that it is only because it's from LIVE. A bitter aftertaste.

Favorite tracks now: "Wings", "Show", "Where Do We Go From Here?", "Nights of Nights"
Least favorite: "Get Ready"

It's a trend, that the verses are ok-good, the choruses weak-ok, and the bridges are surprisingly great (somehow sad, that you can categorize that).

So, that's about it...Hope these snippets are worth a read for you. For a full song-to-song review I need more time, but that are the first impressions. Think, you'll all have a review of your own soon innocent.gif

It's not a weird format at all. MP3 has become the norm but it is completely obsolete. OCC and M4A compress music a lot better, retains quality of a 192kb mp3 compression at half the size.

Maybe I should have said it's in a format that doesn't get used alot anymore. I haven't seen an ogg file since i downloaded BOP. lol.gif

They once rocked. They now pop! Again (I mean "like each time they put out a new CD") it's different from what they've already done.

'All I Need' sounds like a DOAD outtake though omg.gif

Screw VLC; Audacity will convert it to a WAV or MP3 for you.

Got it! Now, the review...

Good, cool, don't look like they've fired Railo... Too much piano/strings...
Really, one of the best POP album this year... Pop...

I preordered the uk release, I don't think its happening in USA, Live isn't even a featured artist at sony anymore.
