tnx for sharing. I think this was actually a great and long interview.
Some things I found interesting.

- All the talk about the early days of the band, we haven't heard much about things like that in interviews. It was really cool that Ed shared much details of long ago, such as the first songs etc.
- It was really good to hear Ed talking inspired again. I haven't heard him talking about Krishnamutri for a long time again. But also the new stuff, Forever. Since I heard it, I liked it but still saw the lyrics as just another post-2001 Live song. But there's more meaning behind it, and I was also surprised Ed connected it to the US elections 2008.
- The last part: Ed doesn't want to be as succesful as in the 90ies? That'surprises me. I mean, I can understand, but every artist would wanna have that attention (again) right? But glad to see that they feel more comfortable now without the wildness that the 90ies brought them.

I haven't tried this myself (yet), but I'm usually able to rip most streaming videos by using an application called Orbit Downloader. You can download it from http://www.orbitdownloader.com/ (it's free).

Once you've installed the program, start the Grab++ module and then go to the page and play the video. The Grab++ module will then show you the link to the file and then you'll be able to download it to your hard drive.

I'm sure Ed wants success for Live, but I do think he is truthful of not wanting 90's level attention again. I remember hearing that period was not the happiest for the band with all the hometown jealousy etc.

Fuck, no surprises. My thought when I first listened to BoP.

And the same I posted on this very board after SFBM was out. Pop songs not intended to be popular. Quite a way of pissing in the mainstream ©, huh?

He mentioned that they covered songs by The Smiths??? wtf? This just blew my mind, I have to know which songs and even though it boarders on sacrilegious to cover a song by The Smiths, with Live's track record of awesome covers I'd kill to see them do this again.

Orbit Downloader works. Each video is about 50 megabytes in size. The format is .FLV
Once I finish downloading them all, I'll upload the files to mediafire.com

Thank you!

That was well-worth watching, even through the streaming issues.

I love hearing artists speak of his/her craft and inspiration(s).
