DEBUNKED: Keenan Says Yes, (About a song) Options

I'm confident that Keenan Says Yes is likely an alternate title for Walk Into This Room. First of all, let's look at its BMI number (7461651). This was registered at basically the same time as the "song" Playing by Heart (BMI 7461654). I believe this one is also just another variation on WITR (after all, the version of the song which plays at the end of the movie IS slightly different than the one which plays during). The fact that these BMI numbers, chronologically, come after BOP is irrelevant. The BMI number is just the number assigned when the song was registered. Unreleased songs do not have to be registered at the time of their creation. This is why older songs like Cheetah, Born Branded, and All is Crazy on the Action Front were registered between 2001 - 2003. That's just when Ed scratched "Register these songs" off his To Do List.

Secondly, the scene in the movie Playing by Heart where Walk Into This Room plays is the scene where Ryan Phillippe (Keenan) agrees to try out a relationship with Joan (says yes).

In the words of Jamie and Adam, I think this myth is busted.
