Top 10 Live Songs, Post TDTH Options

[Hoodstock]

There seems to be a general opinion that the newer Live music is not as good as the older material. I would like to ask, in your opinion, what are the Top 10 songs Live has released on an album since The Distance To Here was released?

Your Top 10 list could include any songs from V, BOP, SFBM, the I Walk The Line cover (originally released in 2001), and the two new songs from RS.

Right, well this is tough.. I'm assuming I can't list the old songs that were on Awake?

1. God Don't Ever Change (its not on an album, but fuck it, you can deal with it)
2. Like I Do
3. Lighthouse
4. Walk The Line
5. She
6. Flow
7. Simple Creed
8. ...
9. ...
10. ...

That's honestly about as far as I can get, I don't think I've consistantly listend to much more since right after they were released..

There sound is changing and yeah, it's not as rough as SS days...but so what?

Well Live do covers extremely well, "Love my way" is one of the best songs I think they've ever done.

If I am forced to fill out the rest of that list too it'd probably go

Well Live do covers extremely well, "Love my way" is one of the best songs I think they've ever done.

I have to agree that Live does a great job with covers. My favorite is the version of Imagine that I put on my iPod (I have a whole bunch of versions and I'm not sure which one it specifically is). It is one of my favorite Live songs.

My favorite Live cover without question, has to be "Running to stand still" by U2.

It gives me chills.

I can play it on repeat for hours and hours.

Exactly.

I didn't think twice about the original when U2 did it.

I Like U2 for the most part, but some of their stuff leaves me cold.

When Ed did it....well....shit....I was floored.

The original was definitely trash.
