Get your facts straight. Perhaps they didn't cover it anatomy but there is a point when the ear breaks down and doesn't respond accurately. Any car with an excessive subwoofer installation can easily demonstrate the point. There is a big difference between a human ear and a microphone. Next time your at a loud concert stand in the back and then make your way forward to the point that you place your ear 3" from the loud speaker. You'll see that the perceived "noise level" has changed although the mix hasn't.

Not covered in anatomy, but covered in neuro. Let's hear your explanation though, just for laughs! And, if the people I went to concerts with looked like the cocksucking Incredible Hulk, maybe I'd try your little nerd experiment but for now I'll just stick to chillin. hi.gif

You are on crack. I hope they cut VooDoo Lady completely from the CD / DVD. I'm so sick of people loving on this song. It sucks on the CD and it kills the energy of the concert. Only a select group of diehards like this song - nobody else.

Voodoo Lady? what are you talking about...i know a lot of casual live fans that love this song....

The main thing I want to hear is Dam.....that definitely qualifies as something special. Voodoo Lady and Shit Towne are both in rotation on tour already...

Maybe this is a better statement than sucks, but instead of not in my top 20 I would change it to 40.

I'm not a huge fan of Voodoo Lady.. but it doesn't piss me off. There are Live tunes that piss me off though, so I'd take VL over any of these anyday.

What Live songs piss you off and why?

Actually, there aren't too many. Most are V related.

Call me a fool and Nobody Knows really do -- just because of the stylistic elements. Live's written a lot of ballads, but these two for some reason, for me, stand out above the rest as different and not good.

Like a Soldier is cool until Ed's rap part. I feel embarrased when I listen to this.

To be honest, this is about it. I like a lot of Live's music to varying degrees, but these tunes would be about the only one's I'd change if they came on.

*edit to change song title*

As to the argument above, of course there is such a thing as 'too loud'.

Damn right...

When you're at a metal festival and your seat is in front of one of the speakers, there definitely is such thing as too loud. It's an experience I don't want to go through again.
