You could say Birds of Pray is my favourite post-TDTH record! These are in no particular order.

1 Simple Creed
2 Overcome
3 Wings
4 Night of Nights
5 Like I Do
6 Run Away
7 Lighthouse
8 Show
9 Life Marches On
10 She

In no particular order:

1. Like I Do
2. Simple Creed
3. Run Away
4. Love Shines
5. She
6. Flow
7. Show
8. Sofia
9. Where Do We Go From Here
10. Wings

Honorable Mention: God Don't Ever Change and Walk The Line (they are awesome, but are covers after all); Deep Enough, Transmit Your Love, Life Marches On, People Like You, Transmit Your Love and Heaven.

It has to be particular order, otherwise whats the point? lol and you named 8 more songs in your honorable mention.....

A lot of people are listing God Don't Ever Change...I gotta hear this...I heard a realy shitty recording a while back and i wasn't loving it....

Ok, stupid newbie question, but where are all these covers and songs not from albums? I have I Walk The Line, but where are the others you've mentioned?

Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure the only other one mentioned was God Don't Never Change which was played at a few shows last summer. There's a decent mp3 recording of it and last summer there was a vid on YouTube but I'm not sure if it's still there.

Ah, Love My Way was a Furs cover they did back in the day, like SS tour. There should be some bootlegs of that on bootlegheaven. Running to Stand Still I think they did at a few Australian shows circa 2004-2005? Possibly that's floating around too.

Is there a better quality 'God don't ever change' out there than the one on youtube? I just ripped the audio from the you tube video .. it's pretty poor sounding, but unfortunatly as myself and Ex have stated, it's the best thing they've done in 8 years so if there's a better quality audio out there.... hi.gif

You can find it on some of the Freaks singles.

After looking over everyone's list I can't believe nobody even mentioned "We Deal In Dreams" . It's not a personal favorite of mine but it's not a bad song. Either it's completely forgotten or people just don't like it.

That's actually a good point, that would probably slot into my top 10 post 2000 songs then taking the place of hero of love. Although the fact that I completely forgot about it isn't a good reason to put it in my top ten .. then again unlike some songs (looking at love shines) it's not so unbelievably bad that you can't ignore it's existance.

The version of We Deal in Dreams that's on the Awake CD was recorded during the Throwing Copper sessions, so technically it doesn't meet the post-TDTH criteria.
