omg.gif I have just found the fiercest song i have ever heard out of Live. I would challenge anyone to find a song that rocks more than this from Live. rockin.gif EVERYONE needs to hear it. This is why I think it deserved it's own thread even though technically it could have fit in the thread with the Gruenspun show upload.

This song has everything... 2 sets of alternate lyrics (One inspired by a fellow named Ja Rule?)... and an awesome new guitar part (start from 6:30)

Whoever said Live's best was during SS tour may have been wrong because this is 2001... If anyone has a song that can compare to this please post it.

this is a very cool version, i think i heard one similiar from the greek theater in LA in 2001. check out white, discussion from 1997-02-10, Blockbuster Pavillon, Charlotte, NC at bootleg heaven. ed starts singing about having a master crazy on the other side towards the end that clearly was a little foreshadowing for the lyric in sun. thumbsup.gif

Best rockin' version of WD I've heard is Pinkpop 2002 (5/18/02, Holland)...you can see the performance too on the BOP DVD. Everytime I watch CT stompin, I remember someone on a +LIVE+ message board once describing him as "putting out a forest fire".

I like that.

Yep...very good version.

My favorite part is where he sings......."Now I know you're feeling lonely....."

Oooh......gives me the shivers!!

I would also claim SC from the 2001-08-04, Rolling Rock Town Fair, Westmoreland Fairgrounds, Latrobe to be really fierce

but i think my favorite part of the concert is when Chad Gracey yells out
" HEY HOW ABOUT THIS ONE" then he starts playing 'Pain Lies on The Riverside'

That was pretty damn good!

For anyone who thinks they can't improve on their studio efforts, that right there is proof that improvisation and not stock standard repeats of songs is better.
