NBC news thinks about ratings, not the effect of what they show. Today they made a big deal about a pointless topic, talking about how the government is looking to ban Waterboarding of prisoners. Before, kids never had even heard of it. Now it's one of the top searches on google and you know board ass high school boys across the counrtry will have a new thrill. They should really examine why they would run a pointless story like that.

I'm sure waterboarding will be far down on the list of things a 16 year old school boy is wanting to do. You see a lot worse just on your local news every night, so whats the difference?

Outside of the weather the news is pretty pointless. I don't want to know if Brittany got a new pair of shoes or what politician beat around the bush about torture. All this focus on it is very dumb... why not focus on the fact that Habeas Corpus is MIA?

I'm also sure that 16 year old boys have other things to do like chasing girls or alcohol. Those are much more rewarding than recreating a form of torture.
