Ed is scheduled to sing "I Walk The Line" as long as other songs at a special show at MLB studios on April 12th in NYC. "I Walk The Line" and not "The River" will be broadcast at Yankee stadium the same inning.

Now what if Epic wants to capitilize on American Idol promotion/scandal and put a version of I Walk the Line on the new album. It can't be the same version as the one on "Awake" but perhaps Ed could pull a solo acoustic version together quickly? Or they could record a live version at an upcoming concert. Since American Idol is only a US show, it would only affect the US release date.

Maybe its a long-shot, but I think it makes sense. Anyone have any thoughts?

That would be cool. I couldn't find any info or preorder for SFBM on MLB. They need to update . . .

Ummm, yeah.

I'm sorry, that's just retarded. So, what, someone had the bright idea that since the song was mentioned on a massively popular TV show, someone should go back and dig it up again as far as Live goes? Come on. It's not a new thing, and they're going to all of a sudden pay attention to it?! It's a great song, I am not saying it's not. But to go back and shower it with attention b/c it got a little attention?! Again...I'm sorry, but that is practically reaking of desperation.
