Live's latest album (Songs from Black Mountain) came in at #2 on the top 20 albums poll on AlternativeAddiction.com.

The River came in at #13 (with a nice little write-up on the site) and Mystery came in at #39 on the top 50 song poll on the same website. Unfortunately having two songs in the running split the election for Live in this particular catergory.

Congrats to Live for gaining some respect for an underappreciated album. Let's hope 2007 will see Live and Epic part ways for good as Live begins work on album #8.

It's cool they're getting some coverage there, but in reality this is a TINY site with less than 75k views/month.

I love the site. Its underground music where the Nickelbacks of the world get shunned. As long as Live can maintain a small devout following, they'll have reason to continue on.

What exactly do you mean by 'the Nickelbacks getting shunned'?

Oh ... and way to go Live and Black Mountain!

Nickelback only had one song make the top 50, which would not be the case in mainstream media. I'm grateful for alt addiction.

But among indie and alt rock fans, it's one of the biggest websites on the entire internet.
