I know its not really my place, but Hoodstock you should not start so many topics at one time. If you want to have discussions about which track is best, how about we discuss one track per week? Just starting numerous new posts will turn the average reader off and intelligent discussion will be signifigantly lessened.

Just a thought.

Funny. I was about to post a thread called "SPAM!!"

I don't mean any offense because discussion is good, but the front page here is a mess.

Yeah really. There's no point to these "track number" polls anyways.

And I might add, it is fucking stupid that every time someone votes in a poll it is bumped. I think we need these polls to close soon. That is the only way we will ever rid them of clogging up the front page.

I agree, we don't need these topics...Or just put them in one thread or something.

Nobody's forcing you to take part or even read these polls but you still seem to place your vote anyway.

Instead of bitching and moaning about it why not start your own topic? Or is that beyond you?
If you don't like it go and play in the street and stop annoying us with your pathetic, pointless posts.

I agree with Leigh; if you don't like the polls, just don't read them.

There's a lot of hoodstock on the forum but he's a very positive poster and his topics are always thoughtful and enthusiastic. As pointless as some folk find the polls, I for one find them quite interesting

Yes, one poll per week would be fine. However one poll a day is insane. Also if you make a new poll everyday, pretty soon there will be nothing left to poll. Hoodstock just needs to slow down a bit.

Ya, I thought of that once a week thing, but since the site is gone at the end of the year I will post as much as I want anyway! I'm not really looking for the discussion with these poll threads, I'm looking to make a new CD with the help from the people at this site.

I wouldn't write the fansoflive obituary just yet. Also. if you are not looking for a discussion, STOP POSTING SPAM on the message boards. Any newbie who comes to check out the board will be turned off by the lack of variety and discussions present on page one. If it continues, I have a feeling 2007 may be a Hoodstock free fansoflive.

- All the decent topics have fallen to the second or third page.

- Track numbers and songs are completely uncorrelated, except for the first and last tracks, and his reason for making the polls is stupid: "I wanted to make a cd". I want to make a lot of CDs but I'm not about to start polls about what to put on them.

- Who ever said this website is going away at the end of the year? Dan only said it MIGHT if he couldn't find someone to replace him. Who knows...maybe he has found someone.

I was gonna say...he couldn't have done 1 a week, there aren't enough weeks left. Ordinarily I would agree that they are too fast, but hey if he didn't then we'd only have like the best 1-5 tracks.

And, I happen to think this is a GREAT way to make a CD.
