An upload by Dealing Dreams on 5/2/17. I had never heard this before and I like it. Lightning Crashes, one of my lesser favorites, with more edge. Sorta cool to consider, what if they would have recorded it like this?

I don't think it would have had the mass appeal it did, had the band released it is that format. It sounds very clinical and emotionless. That being said, I do enjoy the early version. It's a nice change from the overplayed CD and live versions we're all familiar with.

Floating around for a while, definitely cool to hear. On a side note, Dealing dreams makes odd claims about hold me up and susquehanna from the new TC tapes being "demos."

very nice version indeed. I wonder if anyone who heard it that night got a sense that it would become the massive hit that it did? I know its easy to say with hindsight, but even in this early form there's something pretty special about it. or at least different/unusual for what live was putting out at the time.
