Sounds like our Australian friends may lose the capability to use Google.

It's unlikely this would occur. Just a threat from Google that they will use to bargain with the media companies.

Facebook has just blocked a slew of news sites from Facebook. Unfortunately they also blocked a number of politician's pages as well as community, not for profit and government run sites. Oops.
