I'm fairly certain the idea of the mask was mine and research into masks led us to the Balinese masks that worked both right-side up and upside down. Hence the "secret" of Secret Samadhi.

The secret is revealed! Personally, I never realized there were two faces there.

This all should be compiled into a book.

We all have to write a book. A huge book about Live and our stories about Live.

Funny you should say that. I have created a new website devoted to Live. All of my existing photos of Live are there and I hope to take many more photos of Live and post them there in the future. I would also love to get Jimmy Lang to share some of his photos there too.

I also plan to start blogging about Live on the site. By blogging, I mean real journalistic-style blogging about Live, their songs, their albums, their concerts, lyric-meanings, etc. I am just getting started.

I also wanted to record news about the band on the News page and I also started a Twitter feed with band news and I linked that Twitter feed, and the band's official Twitter feed, on the blog page.

Last but not least, I wanted to record a "Fan Journal" that would do just what you stated. A virtual story book of stories and journalistic writing and concert experiences submitted by fans of The Band Live, to be recorded for posterity on the site. They can be submitted via the email link.

I had hoped that the Secret Samadhi Churchbox Sessions would be released sometime now,...but the news on this is very quiet.

I know, I have no reasons to complain, but I am sooooo curieus about this, as SS is my alltime favorite Rock album ever.

Today, I have started some photoshopping for this album, they have to make it as big as a DVD, so there is a proper place for a great booklet!

I hope that everyone submits a Fan Journal Entry (or more than one!). Any thing that you want to write about our band Live, please submit it. I want it out there like a time capsul and a permanent journal - not to be buried among pages of a message board. The key thing that I want to do, though, is keep the standards high. I want it to be well-written and well-thought-out. Something a few notches above what we write every day on this message board. Let's express ourselves in a way that people looking for information about the band Live can learn and understand something about Live that real true fans know and can express.

This idea popped into my head when I started admining the Where Freaks Talk board. I thin konly Wildman is an active member here from who was over there. And 8 years ago there were hundreds of posters.

I started a new cathegory on the forum, where we gathered rare pics, rare info and interesting stuff. We had a HUGE thread about Otter Creek and all the stories around that place. We had dozens of unique facts about Gracey and his style of playing...

Now it is all gone...

I will for sure suppot your idea and try contribute to the new site as well.

and I wonder whatever happened to the recording of the Strand show? I know I'm being impatient and probably deserve another restaurant analogy from OTD. I'm seated at the table and had some wonderful appetizers, but now my waiter has not been seen for me to order the main course. All in time I suppose....

side note: where is The Thrill? Did Nick get to him as well and he abandoned the board? I'm sure he has more important things going on right now, but he was a good source of what's to come for Live.
