I only discovered them a little under a year ago. I was just flipping through the music channels I have and I stopped on the rock channel for a while and the Blackest Eyes video came on. It wasn't the clay animation video, though. But anyway, as soon as the melodic verse kicked in I was glued to the rest of the song. I had to find out more about them and the more I found the more I was hooked.

In Absentia is an awesome album. Something weird about the music of the song Prodigal... for some reason it reminds me of standing on a paved road on a hot summer afternoon right after a thunderstorm has come through and watching as the fog rises from the road. Then when the chorus kicks in it's as if a cool breeze comes in, chasing away the humidity. I don't know why it does that but I like it.

Gavin Harrison is just an amazing drummer. And I can't count the times I've watched the Anesthetize DVD
