It isn't that we look at him as a "horrific joke of musical talent and ability", he became exactly that. The proof is in the music, and the insanely quick decline in popularity for Live.

No, it is clearly a fact. Compare the music, compare the popularity of the band. Compare the size of the crowds, and the album sales. Steady decline in the 2000's, the proof is right there to see.

Anyone else find it funny that Nick bashes on Shinn and his stage presence when Ed has become a hip thrusting male stripper on stage?

Not to mention he has his huge smile on songs that don't really warrant a smile?

I can't wait for James Hetfield to throw on a giant, cheesy grin next time they play "All Nightmare Long".

Yeah, he's the guy who once stated that Live is the only band who's albums he can listen to all the way through. Hardly someone that has any perspective on music.
