Don't you understand what a joke is? Why do we have to be serious about the band we love ALL THE TIME. I think "V" sold what? 250,000 copies in the US....thats a joke. So even though some of us might not mind the album or might even enjoy the album doesn't mean we can't poke fun at it.

Think about it. This forum is full of people that were once huge live fans. I don't think anyone here has never liked live. But now, as you say, many of us have more or less stopped liking them. Many of us dislike their more recent work, and many of us have moved on to different bands/music. What does that tell you about live as a band?

If you want to be on a board where no one has an opinion of their own and only says positive things all the time try the SOY board. You'll fit right in with the rest of the sheep.

Exactly. I still hold on to some hope that they'll write worthwhile music again before calling it quits, and I've made some good friends here. My tastes changing doesn't make me want to stop being a part of this community.

In SOY's defence they are starting to be a bit more liberal minded with this .. I've not held back on any of my opinions on the new material there and whilst I've had a few people tell me to take my negativity elsewhere, not one mod has told me to cut it out .. and hopefully that's because they know I am genuine and I'm not there specifically to cause trouble, just voicing my opinion. It's simple to me where it comes to Live, I still am a fan of the band, just not of their latest music.

why do you stay here? didn't you say in another thread that we were all too old for you and that you were leaving? you even put it in your signature, then you took that all down and came back. people can say whatever they want on here...that's nobody's right to decide what is ok and what isn't (except for Dan). i don't really care about all these shitty, make-up wearing, freakish bands you're into, but it's your right to post about them on here and i'm not going to question why you talk about them.
