New banners needed for Fans Of Live Options

I saw the first 3 letters in the word banners of this topic and got my hopes up

I wonder if there is any chance F4L would ever put a link up to FOL as an unofficial fan site? I know some bands do this where they have a relationship with one of the bigger fan sites out there. Might be pushing it though.

I wouldn't worry about asking them to link to this site for the time being. They're going to need to focus on building traffic to their own site first.

A link to Ed's site will remain on the Fans Of Live homepage for the forseeable future.
I'm not sure about that... Does anybody know the URL to Chris' site? It used to be www.chrisshinn.com but nothing is there at the moment...

He may have just had it taken offline for now since he's focusing on being the singer of Live. You could just link to his Facebook fan page in the meantime. http://www.facebook.com/ChrisShinnMusic

Even if Live had left the forum for Ed up, I am guessing Ed or his people would ask it to be taken down because I doubt a lot of nice things would have been said about him.

As far as their forum vs. this forum goes, that is interesting. I can see the issue with linking to this forum as they aren't 100% in control (moderating etc) and you never know what issues may come up.

However, not linking to it brings up the issue of trying to get people to post to 2 different boards for the same band. You might get people to do it initially but maybe not in the long run. For me, I went there for a few days and haven't really gone back. I still visit the site but the message board isn't all the appealing.

They should have bought this forum from dangum and then hired him to moderate it (he probably would have done it for free...or a copy of Hold Me Up) Then we all win.

It possibly has to something to do with both parties attempting to keep any possible slander away from their brand.

I can imagine that a lot has been said about what goes on in this forum or on facebook with the bickering back and forth.

Just want to thank everyone that was involved with this and made it happen. Now I don't have to see Ed's face and instantly get pissed off every single time I come to this board.
