I was 12 when I got on the Live bandwagon.

What I've loved about their music is that for those first 4 albums, there was always a song for my current mood.

When I was pissed off at the world, I'd put on heaver tracks that would make me want to drive fast.

When I was sad and needed a pick me up, a song like Turn My Head would always pull me out of that funk.

When I was just in a great mood, I'd let the cds play and just enjoy them.

My Dad was playing me MJ not long after it came out (not sure where he heard of them from) and I used to play it heaps even when he wasn't around, so I think that puts me around 6 or 7yrs old when I first started listening to them, but didn't get to see them until I was 12 on the Secret Samadhi tour. So they are one of those few bands I was brought up with that I still listen to as much today.

When all that's left to do is reflect on what's been done; this is where sadness breathes

They made a clear statement by opening their first show of a reformed Live with this song.

Live's music penetrated my soul and allowed me to feel what I may have been feeling at the time....all kinds of emotions......the music/the message/the power of the sound as it comes through your body.

Spirit of Live.....I definately witnessed it last weekend!!! It's was a rebirth....as TGF was a precursor to those feelings again!! I think there is a majority out there finding out something is abuzz...let's tell em!!

Wicked vids there

Probably off topic a little, but when i was a teenager (when i discovered Live and TDTH) i always thought the line in Sparkle read:

"Live will overcome. Live will make us men"

Even though i now know the word is 'love', I still hear it and sing it as 'Live' to this very day. That is one of my favourite Live lyrics and its not even real! kicking.gif

Extended version of WD... Brilliant! Even with the silly boa still one of my historical favorite concert songs.

Now I'll never unhear that when I listen to the song! I counter with:

We conference again, and again, and again, as our sanity walks away

It has been so long since TC, but I remember the first time I heard PoD it was "Oh bad eyes, for my TV."

Heard it once then read the lyrics, got it right, and am still fighting it to this day.
