Wildman, thanks for the vid!! After listening to this and TDAOC from Monday night, I'm sold on Shinn. He messes things up in a couple of spots, not sure if it's because he needs to rehearse more, or his stamina is a bit lacking (most of his mistakes are towards the end), but damn, it still sounds GREAT!!! Good to see CT stomping away again too!!!

Pretty excited to see the guys again. Hopefully they'll do another trip to Milwaukee!!

As an admittedly brand new fan I was extremely leery of a Live without Ed.
I fell fast and hard; but for Ed, Chad, Chad and Pat.
However, Chris Shinn has completely obliterated any doubts I had as to whether or not Live could possibly be as mind blowing without Ed.
I really thought I'd be settling for the new Live...missing Ed while loving being able to hear the others together again, but that isn't the case at all. Instead, I actually prefer Chris on some songs. All Over You for example...didn't care for the song at all until now.

Thanks again wildman.
Chris sings the Live songs better in concert than EK does with his band.
But i prefer Live with EK more than Live with Shinn.
But that doesn't mean i don't like Shinn...I'm a big Shinn fan and i think he does a great job with the band. EK is no longer a part of the band and Live has to move on without him. Live is my favorite band and i prefer them more than EK.

I'm really hoping there will be similar shows like this, this summer. They really just need to form some kind of mini-music festival. They could do it in Pennsylvania (east coast) and Washington (west coast), and maybe a few spots in-between. They could make it a two day event (to give them some rest) and try to get all the bands they've worked with or they have ties to in some way.

I discovered Chris Shinn's music (UT, EIE, solo) because of the Live/Counting Crows tour that Unified Theory opened for more than 10 yrs ago.

I agree Ed. Chris's confidence and comfort level will grow with every passing note. People are conflicted now because they hear Chris singing songs originally sung by Ed. You're almost forced to compare the two singers. But when the new stuff comes out, stuff sung only by Chris, I have no doubt that he will place his stamp firmly and all will be right in the world.

The main point is that the crowd was SO into the show although Live were not even on the bill!
