You're the man donno, definitely enjoyed meeting you.

So who else was sweating the keyboard when you saw it on stage? Aitkens and I were both a bit scared, but it turned out alright.

I'm really hoping Kevin's wish comes true. TGF / CandleBox / Live Tour !!! rockin.gif

I hope CG is working out because that would be one hell of a tour for him!

I would need to train physically for that show. Good God.

If TGF/Candlebox/Live toured together they would probably need to have TGF open first just so CG can catch his breath and get his calves back for Live's setlist.

Btw... I just gotta say I've been freaking torn the past two/three days between this forum and a Titans forum I post at regularly. All this buzz with Live and the buzz about the Titans possibly getting Peyton Manning is making my head spin.

I actually wish they'd just go with who they've got and go after Mario Williams. Titans need a pass rush and their Oline fixed more than they need a quarterback. But hey, it's Butt Adams team right?

Anyway... back to our regularly scheduled Live-talk.

Did he or does he?

He didn't. And I dunno if he should or would. I didn't get that "Omg you're so hot and I wanna jump your bones" feeling when I saw him like I do when other band member are on stage.... Not mentioning any names. smile.gif

I felt more like he was a brother type. So sweet and vulnerable, you almost wanna protect him. So I dunno about the shirt off and seeing him as a sex symbol just yet.

Is that weird??

QUOTE(SJN1279 @ Mar 14 2012, 4:49 pm) *

i personally find Ed to have a strong stage presence and he interacts with the audience well. He is able to sing and not stayed glued to the mic stand.

Most of the pictures I've seen of Shinn singing from Monday, he has his eyes closed. That typically brings a sense of disconnect between the performer and his audience(and a rookie mistake).

Ugh, so ignorant on so many levels:

A) He's new to the material and he's focusing on it. It's his first show. Do you really think he's gonna be wandering around the stage aimlessly on his first night?

B) Considering you only seem to be a fan of the band from BoP through Ed's Alive album, you'll need to check YouTube for the clips of Ed from the early/mid 90s who had tons of energy but barely interacted with the crowd.

C) Ed's interacting so much with the crowd was fun at times, but he often just looked like he was doing it to not be utterly bored. He showed no emotion with the lyrics.

D) Do you really think Ed stripping off his shirt making, most of the audience laugh, when he barely had a body to speak of was "good stage presence"?

E) Chris obviously seemed far more into the words and songs than Ed has in the last ten years. He wanted it to be a good performance and was obviously putting his heart and soul into it.

Don't get me wrong, I was a big, big fan of Eds for most of the run of LIVE. However, your arguments are petty and unreasonable.
