I really hope he's involved in the studio process with Live. I know he's the "touring" guitar player so I'm not sure if he'd play on the album or not?

As a fan of both bands I feel like he gets to offer a lot more with Live. He and Pete in Candlebox have somewhat similar play styles, but in Live he really stands out a lot more. That's all speculation though because I have no idea how much he contributed to the new Candlebox songs, I haven't seen them perform those as a full band yet.

I completely agree with Funky. Sean definitely has more "room" in Live/TGF than he does in Candlebox. If you really want to hear Sean go off, check out the Hiwatts record. The man can shred something fierce.

If Live and Candlebox were to tour together, I don't know what I'll do with myself. Those are my two favorite bands from the 90's and huge influences of my musical career.

From a recent interview with KM
“I’m happy that Candlebox is still making music,” said Martin. “I’d love to have the band be where it was years ago but that’s going to take time. But I hope not too much time. We love what we do but I’d love to have that success that we had early on back in the day to where we could go and play in Europe, Alaska, and South America. I’d love to expand our live music outside of the United States. So right now I’m not happy that we’re still in the states/still trying to get out of the states type of band. Honestly, I don’t even know what’s going to happen. I’m happy that we’re still a band. In twenty years we’ve been making music and we’re still making it and that’s a good thing.”
Touring with LIVE, who remain very popular in some euro countries (not in Italy, unfortunately) would be a perfect way to achieve what he's hoping

Unfortunately I'm pretty sure (I don't have the booklet in front of me) that Sean wasn't the guitarist on that record, I think he joined the band afterwards. Doesn't make him kick any less amount of ass though!!

Possum it has been inferred that Sean would be on the record, but nothing more than that.

I didn't even think he made it on that one but I never actually looked, I know he's all over the new one.
