The guys should get him whatever he wants to stay around. He really brings a lot to the band and he and Chad have great guitar playing chemistry together.

Sean is just a cover guitar player.

With no noticable dropoffs however!

He has explained who he is before, I think the term thrown up in the papers is Business Partner, but more than that, he's their friend.

I think initially they will tour with Candlebox and perform as LIVE and TGF as well. Probably keep the LIVE set to a similar 10-song kinda deal, adding new songs when they're ready just to gain some momentum.

If a bigger tour follows with the launch of the new album, I think then they will tour exclusively as LIVE (world tour perhaps?) and will then exclude Sean as he will probably be busy with Candlebox and their tours/songwriting as well.

Just makes sense to me - but funky could probably give us some insight if that makes sense at all cos he has a better idea of how the industry works.

I have no particular insight into the situation, but there are a lot of different ways it could go down depending on what the members of all three bands want to do. If Lotus Crush is still a thing (the other gentlemen in Candlebox) then they may want some time for that, or there may come a time when Sean chooses between being full-time with Candlebox and full-time with Live.

As a fan of both bands I feel like he gets to offer a lot more with Live. He and Pete in Candlebox have somewhat similar play styles, but in Live he really stands out a lot more. That's all speculation though because I have no idea how much he contributed to the new Candlebox songs, I haven't seen them perform those as a full band yet.

From the wikipage of Sean.

QUOTE
In a 2010 interview, Hennesy described his style of guitar playing as, "A high-cut karate sound that cuts through," which he felt would be well suited to accompany Taylor's "Big, fat, manly beast" guitar sound."

Nailed it.
