Yeah I had a question of Zander, who I assume was the DJ ... what was he actually doing? I saw him in the back of a couple of pictures, just curious as to what his role of the night was, certainly something different.

Seriously the whole thing, even from this distance, left me extremely impressed with the way everyone talked of it, with the way everyone (bar Nick) responded to it, with the way in those clips that it sounded, with the setlist surprises, with how fucking good CS sounded in those clips, seriously there was nothing out of this whole experience that made me go "hmm, im not sure about that". And if someone in 1999 suggested to me that in 2012 I would be happy with a change of lead singer in Live, I would have laughed at them because of how fucking much I loved Live right then as they were perfect to me. It shows how much has changed.

Live has a new lead singer, that's just the way it is, that's the reality, things change, accept it, if you can't then its YOUR problem, readjust your way of thinking and stop being so narrow minded as to putting things in boxes as to how things "should" be.

I'm seriously now left salivating for my turn to see them again and I hope I get the opportunity to meet each one of the guys again and personally thank them for carrying on this dream because its making so many people so happy. Bring on the new album, bring on a world tour, bring on long lost gems from the setlist, bring on unreleased songs - Bring on LIVE!

I think it refers to Alexander Lefever, who joined the stage for backing according to YDR.

Holy shit!

That quote with "No noticable dropoffs" made me laugh out SO loud this morning at the doc's, that those around me expecting their examination jumped up scared! Dancingqueen, you fucking ROCK.

Z, my man, you were AMAZINGLY twitting. Loved it.

I would love to once again thank both of you for the information that made me feel I was there, really!

And you know what... The word " Sparkle" made me open my mouth VERY wide.

Foooof

Holy goddamn shit. Guys, you can say whatever you want. I have not heard anything by Live in 2012. I have only seen the pics. I do not know how well Chris is singing the songs. All I can say for now, judging ONLY by pics, is a horrible thing.....

He suits Live PERFECT by the way he looks. By the way he dresses. You are free to ignore my post or say that it is stupid, but if a man dresses like a man, more than that, like a part of a rock band, it says for itself I think. And now, judging by the pics, I saw a BAND, not a frontman and the musicians. I sincerely hope that he does remain with us all as a part of Live and enjoys the journey.

The merch lol.gif But of course I am glad to see those letters, it is fucking brillianT! CCCP destroyed itself in 1991, but now, in 2012 CCCP is back!!! Now I do not have to compose anything myslf, but simply wait till the online shop opens. Also dreaming of a hoodie!

BTW, when it comes to the recording of the gig... Didn't Chad tell us all that when F4L launches, it will have some nice concert footage? And isn't it the reason why the site launch is being held back? Huh? HUH???????

I am close to having a panic attack right now. But I am SO glad that in 2012 I can get excited for LIVE AGAIN!!!!

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY, CHRIS! Glad to have you with us all!

This has all left me very excited indeed. Sounds like it tore the face off anything Ed has done in his solo career when it comes to performing the Live back catalogue. Sounds like it was a show with passion, energy, integrity and - best of all - some fuckin' balls.

Chris Shinn looks the part with his outfit. And also kind of reminds me of Jeff Hardy in a way.

I love the setlist too. Freaks, Sparkle - yes yes yes yesssssss.

Live is BACK. nod.gif

UTS. Eddie K is the cover band. This performance tonight blew away ANYTHING ed has done.
People left this show saying "WOW, I wasnt expecting that, he was WAY BETTER than Ed.

Let's be serious now. sarcasm.gif

Yes, let's. With the way he performs, Ed definitely IS the cover band these days. He's a nostalgia act at this point. Neither is exactly classic Live, but this is so much closer than Ed it's not even funny.

We are, we don't have our head buried in the sand, unable to accept change. So about that splitting the fanbase thing, guess you better split and leave then huh?

Now now when your appreciation of music is so shallow that you can only identify with a voice...

He isn't better than Ed. I heard the clips, he sounds like a decent singer covering LIVE material.

Why aren't you giving LIVE 2.0 grief for basically playing the hits and no new material?
