New banners needed for Fans Of Live Options

90's alternative fans know the name LIVE. Their is a built in fan base around the name that Ed Kowalczyk or The Gracious Few do not possess.

When a lead singer goes solo, he rarely does as well as when he's with his original band. That said Ed charged a between 25-50 dollars per ticket for his tour and drew reasonably well in most markets(and made a killing overseas).

The Gracious Few dropped their ticket price to 10 dollars after they had a poor advance at the 20+ dollar range. After the switch they drew decent in some markets, but flopped in many others This despite the fact that they billed themselves as members of LIVE and Candlebox and had two established fan bases to draw from.

You're speaking on topics you really have no authority to speak about. As a music fan, you should keep to discussing music. You are entirely out to lunch when it comes to talking about anything business related. You have proven to know nothing about things like brands, assets, marketing, etc. etc. It's funny how you like to discuss those things as if you know what you are talking about. As someone that has made a living working in those areas, I see the ridiculousness of your comments. Trust me, you know absolutely nothing about the music business. Your constant backtracking and overlapping standards prove this. I've been reading your comments for years. The only thing consistent is your hatred of CCP.

I don't like these at all... I would rather have the current one than these. Maybe if you grayscaled it.

But that's kinda the point of the thread. Whether you like them or dislike them you should speak up. Most people on the board don't like the ones that are up now and with the unveiling of the new singer they would really be a sore for sight eyes.

As for the color for the background behind the pictures... I used two different colors from the site, a darker brown and the lighter brown that you see behind the list of news items on the front page, for the gradient affect. That's one of the requirements for the banners that Dan listed in the original post for the thread. I don't even know if I got that right. lol

Bands from the 60's 70's, 80's, and 90's still tour and make a killing. Good music is timeless and fans of different genres are always looking for shows.

LIVE is a 90's band, the 2012 version will be living off their past success.
