I see CCP running the LIVE name into the ground without Ed, and I'm afraid that it will hurt a possible proper reunion. That is why I am freaking out.

LIVE used to fill 2000 seats venues on a regular basis. LIVE with a new lead singer will draw considerably less once word gets out. The longer LIVE tours in a lesser form, the more damage will be done to the brand.

Ed IS already running the Live name into the ground, and has been doing so since he took over full creative control. Ed ruined what Live was about and what they were. Ed did that.

Sure. There's no hurry to get them done. If it takes a few weeks then that's fine.

Maybe you should wait and see how long this latest version of LIVE lasts. Zman opened the Gracious Few fansite only to watch the band stop touring shortly after.

Ed is also a huge part of LIVE and should be represented on the site. If you want to add Shinn, Ed should get his place on the banner too.

Ed will always have a section in the forum as well as having a prominent image on the FansOfLive homepage (along with TGF). I don't think it's a good idea to include Ed in the banners as a he's not currently part of Live but if you want to submit a banner design with Ed inlcuded then it will be considered.

Right. The "I, Alone" tour where he is "playing all the hits such as Lightning Crashes..." isn't touring as Live.

Ed Kowalczyk wants to tour solo and perform the songs he helped create on his own. Remember Ed wrote all the lyrics and a good chunk of the music for LIVE. Heck, he even picked the name LIVE.

That said, if Ed formed a new band and called it LIVE, members of this board would freak out way worse than I am. CCP own the LIVE name, but Ed Kowalczyk solo is just as much LIVE as they are.

We're not disputing the past....let it go. He doesn't want tocome back into the fold at this time with working conditions that wer pre 1998. He cannot use the name because it belongs to the est of the band members, by legalese. His solo rendition of Live songs is so far off the mark of what and how they were performed. You cannot accept this, but it's the honest real truth!!
