I am surprised no one has said Stage.

If you've ever seen Hi Fidelity, you know that the first song in anything needs to hit you hard, but it's the second song that really needs to kick it up a notch. Stage would be a good second song.

Start w/ Simple Creed. End with White, Discussion.

BTW - don't play anything else from V or later!

I enjoyed V and love TDTH immensely but I wouldn't shed a tear if the whole setlist came from the first three albums.

Vine Street, Stage, Rattlesnake or Simple Creed would be a good choice.

Fishies maybe?
Nah, really, they often tried to open the shows with the current era song. That is the best choice. And if the OTD said they had a chance to open with a fresh tune, than be it!

Holy shit! DAOC for me but something new would also set the tone for the show. I feel like I've been waiting for this show for over 10 years. Can the band that defined a decade for me really be back?

Thrill - if they roll with the set list that you joked about is there a policy about throwing something?

Everyone get off of the Simple Creed bandwagon, unless they plan on giving the song new lyrics. Musically, the song is legit. Lyrically, and vocally, the song is complete trash.

I highly doubt they'll cloud their sets with songs from V, BOP, and SFBM. In fact, I'll be disappointed if they include any of them without changing the lyrics and making them legit songs.

The hell with opening songs.

Tracks I'd love to hear either Monday night or when they go on tour.

Good Pain
10,000 Years (Peace Is Now)
Dam At Otter Creek
Shit Towne
Stage
White Discussion
Piller of Davidson
Lakini's Juice
Ghost
Heropsychodreamer
Gas Head Goes West

Mostly tracks that I have either not heard performed in a very long time, or had been butchered the last time I saw them with keyboards, or a bald man pelvic thrusting and singing in falsetto.
