I don't even know what the hell an Essendon football club is, but I lol'd.

EDIT - Aaaaand after a quick little trip over to Googleland I lol'd a little more. I take it Essendon is to you what the Baltimore Ravens are to some of the good folks on this forum? Or are they more like the Cleveland Browns to some of the good folks on this forum?

Basically people hate Essendon because they're one of the most successful clubs in the history of the league smile.gif We have been down recently and we don't speak of that brain fade period where we appointed Knights as a coach, but with the equal number of most premierships ever, you can't say shit! We were shit for a few years recently and now we are on the rise again!
Wam are you a Eagles or Dockers man? I don't see why you would hate us anyways we just gift you wins either way in the west because we can't play there! tongue.gif

i actually dislike them all, not a sports fan, but i know this shit gets people fired up for some reason. Being born in Fremantle, i remember my 5th grade music teacher trying to indoctrinate her class into the brand new Dockers football club by making us memorize the team song. Even at that age i thought it was funny and stupid.

If i had to show interest i actually would like collingwood to win a premiership as much as the freo dockers, always go for the underdog!!!
