I don't know if this is in the right forum or not but I see that they dropped Rattlesnake off the setlist. WTF! I want to hear that song more than any other. I am thinking about bringing a sign to LA, CA next week and have it say PLEASE PLAY RATTLESNAKE! Do you think it will do any good?

can't hurt...i was near the front in ATL screaming for white, discussion when they broke into it...but it is pretty standard in their encore, so it is probably just a coincidence. they will probably still play it as they are mixing things up every night. hope they do for your sake...it kicked ass as an opener in ATL!

According to CT's latest Myspace blog entry, they're gonna change the setlist every couple nights, resulting in some dropped songs.

They can't make everyone happy.

i don't know, everyone in Atlanta seemed happy, even if they didn't play every song we wanted to hear, lol, but damn, a smoking 2 hour show w/over 20 tunes, best live show i've been to out of about 8

Anyone who gets to hear Fishes (if they do in fact bring it back), I'm going to set on fire. I wanted Fishes over Rattlesnake, but I'm glad I had that over Simple Creed.

Hopefully it'll be back when they tour Aus .. Rattlesnake seems to be one of their bigger songs here, it's weird because even very casual fans seem to know it, but then you mention another other song on SS that isn't Lakini's Juice or Turn my head and they wouldn't have a clue.

This thread is cracking me up...three weeks ago if you told me that we would be complaing about:

Simple Creed
Iris
Mirror Song
Voodoo Lady

instead of

Rattlesnake
Iris
Mirror Song

...I would have told you to pass the joint


By the way, (IMO) those complaining about Simple Creed as the opener are nuts (especially if they're playing the "SOMEMONE..." intro)...their 2nd best opener, behind Dam at Otter Creek...Fishes 3rd, Rattlesnake 4th, and Like I Do 5th, but that's a topic for another thread smile.gif

Rattlesnake wasn't played in Los Angeles last night. sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif

Simple Creed was the opener instead.

However...the guys were more "on" last night than I had ever seen before (and this was my 10th Live show), so I got over that disappointment in a hurry.

Dude, if bands were seen/heard/known for their live performances rather than their albums and radio songs, Live would still be one of the biggest bands in the world. Guaranteed.

I know this concert already happened, but for anyone considering taking signs and such... I'm a big Queen fan, so I read Brian May's online blog, and back in March he addressed this very topic (holding up signs and stuff, not Rattlesnake).
