Heard the same thing OTD, well you'll have that when you have individuals who fear the truth.

Heard from my sources that Ed's new band lineup messed up a lot on the classic tunes. After show, a fan got kicked out for asking the wrong question and refusal for a pic op. nod.gif

Kicked out? What questions were asked? (although I can imagine what they were), there's no need to be cryptic on this, if things happened then surely they should be reported on clearly tongue.gif

Fan was escorted out, I have a feeling it was like that european radio interview, someone got uncomfortable and called for the cooler.

hahaha but Ed didn't have a fan kicked out, that's a mischaracterization.

Ed obviously doesn't like his after parties served with a side of truth and a dash of reality I guess.

Ballsy to bring stuff up like that in that kind of forum but nice work to the guy that did!

I am under the direct impression nothing was said like what that interviewer said.....just a greeting, uncomfortable reply and rejection of further talk, refusal for a pic op by fan. Then security escort.

But what did this fan ask? It's hard for me to judge the situation without knowing exactly what was said.

In y'all's opinion is it ever warranted to throw a fan out based on something they say?

It depends on what was said really. Whilst I am certain this was NOT the case; if a fan is at the after party and for example walked up to Ed and began blatantly insulting him and causing a disruption, then sure kick them out because people are there for a good time.

As you said though Opinechik, you'd need to know what was said to fairly judge it. But I can probably guess, they may have approached Ed with a couple of questions or comments that hit a little too close to home, it's a hard one to judge because if you are there with the mind set to ruffle some feathers, then you have to expect the consequences, but with that being said, I think Ed deserves to have a few feathers ruffled. So it probably could have been warranted to throw the fan out, but totally worth it haha.

That's the thing for me, Pokeman; if the "fan" was there just to bust balls, boo freakin hoo that he was thrown out, and who would expect him not to be?
I mean really, how many performers are going to take shit, deserved or not, at an after party without having the perpetrator booted?
