what happened was that I posted something and as soon as it was up, realized someone had already posted it. I didn't know how to delete the post entirely, so I just wrote nevermind... vague, I suppose. but that seems like a mildly hostile response.

I'm actually looking forward to reviews of these shows, and more Ed shows near me. I wish I could go to the show next Saturday in the Poconos (1.5 hr drive for me, tops) but I have to work. I want to see him again. I'm hoping he'll start playing new material (not just Alive, but new new stuff) and I'm really hoping I'll fall in love with his songwriting all over again. fingers crossed.

is he saying something during the bridge? or just moaning weirdly into the mic? I can't tell. I though (I know, I know) I heard him say "water" but that may just be my expectation at this point... I'll listen again. anybody else hear what I'm talking about?

yeah, I've been watching it closely - I've watched it like a dozen times - from 1:32 to almost 1:50, he appears to move to his left to one of the old fashioned metal mics... and clearly there is some kind of effect to his voice. I dunno. I can't understand. probably in person it actually sounds like something.

I think he should simply go with the acoustic guitar and mic. Interviewer isn't informed on anything, band has no continuity....oh well.

True to original arrangement of the old Live songs?? Come on now.

He should have told Jones that Live is still moving along......he stated he wouldn't close doors again. That's all well and good. Guess he's taking a wait & see approach to see how Live 2.0 will do, but doesn't acknowledge that he was replaced. Ed says 'hodgepodge' in relation to promoting Alive, new band lineup and new music.

Guess I shouldn't be so harsh. Whatever makes him fulfilled.
