I don't get how someone can announce a website at the beginning of August 2011 and it is now February 2012 and there is still nothing. Nothing and no sign of anything. And to make matters worse, after this wait, expectations are high. I would expect this to be the best MF'n website the internet has ever seen, but somehow I suspect it won't be.

But I think they named the website correctly, because you have to be a freak to spend every day in a message board of a band that doesn't even exist anymore and hasn't had a relevant song for over ten years. And if you look at every thread, they all devolve into some sort of Lord of the Flies gang attack on Nick. Yeah. I think "Freak" pretty much covers it around here.

It wouldn't be difficult to build a nice frontpage to at least put up. A stream of the All Over You clip, a player with the videos they've made, Chad's blog entries, a Facebook stream, and boom you've at least got a sexy placeholder for people to check in on.

This is being made a lot harder than it needs to be. The internet isn't about overly huge websites anymore, the simpler and smaller the better.

I had roughly the same thoughts - just now. I got home from work, decided to check my email, and while typing "fansoflive" I thought "why do I check this every day? Nothing exciting is ACTUALLY happening, we're just all talking about how we're excited for exciting stuff to actually happen... and then I saw that THIS thread was the last one comment on and I got super excited... and then deflated.

ugh.
crazily, though. I'm still excited for new stuff...
