The Rolling Stones, The Who

BAM!!!!

The stones and who did not have all of their memebers. Brian jones was booted out then died then had like 4 different guys fill in over the years. And kieth moon died. They don't count. Remove the bam

I can't believe two people have actually voted for the latter option. You MUST be trolling.

For anyone that does vote the latter option, thats fine if you thought SFBM sounded tops, but Ed is still giving you that same quality of material right now, surely those people are still getting what they want?

Do more people in the world know who ron wood is or Chad Taylor or Ed for that matter? Doesn't count. The stones are fantastic but not the original lineup. Multiple incarnations since they started

Do the 10 people on this site make this a valid study?

We are up to 26 people and the margin is pretty heavy in the favor of NO ED. I'm guessing those 26 are probably 26 of the most die hard LIVE fans out there so I'd say this is a valid study.

Wyman left 25 years ago so i dont call that recent Before him Brian jones left and now it's Ron wood. I think there is someone in the middle between bill and Brian jones but don't care enough to look. I though this was about original members and the stones have not been that in 40 years. There have been multiple versions. Jagger Richards watts were the constants. Mick Taylor was in there in the 70's

This is true, if you asked me in 1998 how I'd feel about Live without Ed I'd say absolutely no way! So it shows how far he's fallen for a lot of us to actually answer the way we have.

Your proving my point. The 26 people on this site are die hard fans hanging on the words of Chad and the anti Ed shit from years ago. The average Joe is going to be pissed when they show up to see live play songs off tc and it's some new guy. So no, not a valid study of the 26 people on this site. My friends who like them will not go c the new band unless this cd is a monster

Its only 19 years since Wyman left.....cant believe its been that long. Wood has been there since 1975 (37 years), those are the major moves.

Not sure why you're coming unglued over this. Live is moving on for the betterment of their music!!

Doubtful this average Joe fan you describe will even know they are back together let alone who the singer is. The ones that have stayed in touch enough to know that Live is back will know there is a new singer. Plus, we have yet to see or hear how they are going to promote. I doubt they are going to try to pull the wool over anyones eyes. I'm sure they'll be very up front about it when the time is right. Like I said, they have 50,000 or so fans on Facebook and the response to them moving forward has been very positive. There are skeptics but even they are open to checking it out. Only a few say no Ed no Live.

Maybe if they wore makeup like Kiss no one would know or give a shit. I never hear it's not Kiss because Peter Criss or Ace Frehly is gone.
