I have Ed Kowalczyk on google alert, and this was the new article for the day. I didn't cherry pick anything.

Oh no it's still cherry picking because as I say there is no way you would post an article with anything positive to say about new Live. This just screams "hey guys look! Someone else supports my view, I'm not alone!".

Who cares what the reason for posting the blog is? Why don't we just discuss the link rather than SJN1279's supposed motives for posting it?

For what it's worth, this is just your typical fluff piece. It's not a supposed to be a highly researched article - it's a blog entry - something to generate discussion and be slightly controversial in order to get hits on their site.

Being you "run" a street team I would think you would be in the loop and given the heads up on tour dates and news?

I clearly know I'm not alone. One would just have to read LIVE's FB to see that. There is a clear divide down the middle on LIVE 2.0.

Yes but you just want to remind everyone else you're not alone seeing as the majority of people here are psyched about seeing what new Live can dish up as opposed to shitting on it.
Anyways, looking forward to seeing you post some positive articles about new Live when the album drops, that'll be nice won't it? smile.gif

If this was an article going the other way, anti Ed, it would be followed with one of you writing something clever like owned with some dancing bananas.

^It probably would be. But it wasn't. So who is in the wrong. Both sides need to drop it, but neither is innocent.

Nick once again opened up a shit storm and he knew very fucking well that this would happen. I say it again: TROLL ( and possibly a confused man with misplaced love for da EK)

and I type this while listening to DOAD and all Live outtakes. That voice was magic

It wouldn't have been posted by Nick, and wouldn't have been posted in spite. Different circumstances entirely.

I don't see what posting one random article from one random person shows wether it be pro Live with Ed or pro live without Ed. I should go interview my Mum about what she thinks on the subject and post her opinions because they're just as credible. Maybe an article with huge influential potential from a big name magazine or website might bare mentioning. But really this is just pathetic.

Hey you know what.....I don't give a flying rats turd who says its wrong, it won't work, get back for the fans.........ed got his self serving wish to go it alone, in his own way, beating his bible, foreign charities, total control is now in his hands to make or break his musical ambitions.

Personally, I think he made some ill advised choices on direction, control.....sadly we have this alienation. It's about the music everyone. Live is going to be about the music........I can say....many folks will return....and those who wont.....its ok too.....you'll miss out on that.......that if Live was truly about the music for you. If you're one that is akeen to worshiping idols, in this case Ed....and I know quite a few, then the meaning of this band is lost and never sunk in.

It's ok for people to have choices in life....you make.em. you live with them. There is a quick and easy path that many take instead of what is hard, just and slowly rewarding. New Live isn't moving forward to try to repeat its past glory......its simply a happening, a choice, to get back to what is was from the very.beginning. It's ours. With efforts from all members....current and new, I am excited for all the right reasons. It will be a new era as I have followed this band for just about half of my life......I long for the sound of those soulful instruments and the good men that play that sound. I believe the new singer is kindered spirit who shares that musical parallel.

Bring on +LiVE+

Mine too. The original 4 please. And for the love of God, yall please dont turn this into an argument about Live being Live before Ed was involved, yadda yadda yadda. Dead horse.

I'm still excited about Live part 2, but not on the same level. Live is Chad, Chad, Pat, and Ed to me, and will always be. That doesnt make me anything other than a man who very much enjoys the sound of the 4 of them together. Maybe the new group will one day retake that status of being my favorite band. Or maybe they'll just end up being another group that I add to my music library and put into the rotation on occasion.

Now when is the next Live, Ed, or Gracious Few show going to be in the Atlanta area? I'm ready!

There are a million blogs that love Obama and a million that don't. Who cares. Zero credibility.
