Bob Hawke is well known for his beer drinking abilities. Whilest at University in Oxford, Hawke skolled 2.5 pints of beer in 11 seconds which earned him a Guiness World Record.

It appears at the years haven't softened him because at 82 years old he cheerfully accepted a beer from an unknown member of the public at the Australia vs India cricket match in Sydney and with chants of "One for the country, Robert!" knocked it back effortlessly.
