No one will call you an Ed lover for disliking new Live. Unless you think what he is doing is perfectly fine. If you have a problem with Live carrying on without Ed you should have just as much of a problem with Ed carrying on without them.

I believe that if The Gracious Few covered some LIVE/Candlebox at their shows, they may still have been touring today. My feeling is that the rest of Candlebox stopped them.

It's far less embarrassing than Ed and his new band raping Live songs. The guy wasn't trying to emulate the vocals as much as simply sing the song as it was written and originally performed. Something that Ed has forgotten how to do. It wouldn't be such a big deal if Ed was doing something new with that song that was interesting and exciting to hear, but it's not interesting or exciting. It's atrocious and utterly embarrassing. His singing of that song, especially in the video I posted earlier in this thread, provokes the image of an overcooked turkey. And his band? They have absolutely no feel for that song at all. The octave notes the one guitar player hits during the bridge of the song is complete garbage. Like nails down a chalkboard. It totally robs the bridge of the dark edge and screams amateur hour.

I'll take the new singer + CCP performing old Live tunes over Ed + studio rats performing old Live tunes any day. JMHO.
